Our work
Programmes designed with communities to create lasting change in drought-affected villages.
Four connected programmes
Water makes farming possible, farming and skills bring income, and income, health and education give families security. That is why our programmes work together.
Water and drought mitigation
Check dams, water harvesting, soil conservation and relief when floods or drought strike.
Agriculture and livelihoods
Organic farming, micro-irrigation and farmer producer groups so small farmers earn more from dry land.
Women empowerment
Digital Sakhi training, self-help groups, financial literacy and skills for home-based income.
Health and education
Village health camps, preventive care for women, scholarships and skill training for youth.
The work in numbers
Selected results from our programmes.
When disaster strikes
Drought, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic have each tested the region. Our field team, already present in the villages, is often among the first to respond with relief kits, clothes, food and help in reaching government schemes.
In 2025 we ran the Solapur District Flood Relief Programme, distributing household relief kits to affected families.
